I Need Your Advice!!

I've been a little disappointed (yes, I'm whining, I know) that no one has commented on the post about Vintage Postcards - Yesterday's Cell Phones?. We usually sell our vintage postcards quickly when we put them online, so I expected to hear from at least a few collectors.

Also, no one's attempted to answer the question about Ever Hear of the California Perfume Company?. I thought sure my hint in the comments would give it away. Is the question too hard, or just not something that interests you??

We sell vintage collectibles, so I'm constantly doing research on different items we find at estates sales and such. I thought this blog would give me a place to share some of the unique items we have sold over the years, and give you a chance to take a stroll down nostalgia lane and learn some interesting tidbits of information about various collectibles, as well.

Have I missed the mark on this blog? Is it only interesting to me? Or is it just too new to have found its audience yet? Any suggestions you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

are you using all of the blog exchanges? Have you tried Battle of the Blogs on Blog Explosion? I find people tend to actually read the posts on there more so than the exchanges.

Thanks for taking the time to comment, Susan. We are on the exchanges, but I've not looked into Battle of the Blogs.

I guess I've been spoiled, as my other blog, Plush Memories almost always has multiple comments on each post LOL :)!

Sorry to may be expecting too much after only two months of Blogging.

Exposure is something one must work at diligently.

I can't speak for anyone else but I have no interest in old postcards. That's just me. I'm sure there are some that are interested.

I am however, interested in your memories and life lessons. Those also require considerable time to accumulate. It sounds as if you and I are from the same general era.

I confess...I am intimidated by you and the fact that you were in the educational field for a good portion of your life. I didn't do school well. Thought I knew more than they did anyway. Figured they didn't have much to teach me that I needed to know.

I've been at this Diary/Journal/Blog business for a few years now and I seriously doubt that my Blog will ever become a household name but I can dream...can't I?

I'm come a long way and actually, I'm well satisfied with the progress I've made. Regrets...I have a few...but then again, too few to mention. As old Blue Eyes sang...I did it my way.

Mr. Bee, I know you're right, that I'm just being impatient. I really am spoiled with my other blog LOL.

I'm enjoying reading your blog, and I agree that we must be from about the same era. I've found it most enjoyable to remember and share everyday activities from my childhood and teen years.

Not so sure about the "life lessons", though.
