Kentish Tart Memories - Priceless!!

I want to thank chef69 for steering me toward Bakewell Tarts as our family recipe. I found a few recipes on the Internet that sounded similar and printed them out on Christmassy paper. I rolled them into a scroll and gave them to my daughter, the cook, for Christmas ... a priceless present, which cost almost nothing to give, but is worth millions!

She cried right there on the spot when she realized what they were. Now she has all year to try to get the recipe modified to taste like the version my mother made. Maybe we'll have Kentish Tart for Thanksgiving and Christmas next year after all!!
