NOSTALGIA - Reviving faded memories of a bygone time - the way ordinary people lived and the everyday items they used - enjoying those vintage treasures that bring back forgotten memories and heartfelt emotions.
Whether near or far ... alive or not ... our mother's faces always are a part of us, never to be forgotten. They are special people whom we can never replace.
Not only are their faces always a part of us, so are their voices, often coming out of our own mouths!
i hope you had a good day...love is never ending and bounderless and that often comforts me...:)
We had a very quiet day, Chana, but I did get to talk to both our daughters for a long time. I hope you had a wonderful day, too. I feel Mama's love every day, and count myself blessed and fortunate to have had such a good woman for my mother.
I only hear my mother's voice in dreams, that is unless I listen to a few tape recordings I made shortly before she died. I find those much too difficult to listen too, even though it is really her voice. I can hear the pain and illness there. But once in a great while I need to hear them ... sometimes it helps.
